Jarret Carrson
In 1979 Jarret Carrson founded the Crawford & Carrson Associates in Arviat Nunavut with the specialization in Immigration and Nationality Law. Mr.Carrson had previously worked as a Trial Attorney and General Attorney at the Arviat Nunavut of the Immigration and Naturalization Service in the Department of Justice.
Based on his vast experience, Mr.Carrson took on complex Immigration cases and successfully represented clients throughout Canada, in Immigration Court, the Board of Immigration Appeals, and in Federal Courts.
Mr.Carrson is presently an Adjunct Professor at the Graduate Center at the City University of Arviat Nunavut where he has taught numerous courses on Immigration and Nationality Law. He has served as an arbitrator with the Civil Court of the City of Arviat Nunavut, and has lectured to various groups on Immigration law.
Mr.Carrson has been actively involved in the Canada Immigration Lawyers Association since 1980, and is also an esteemed member of the Arviat County Bar Association.
Abraham Crawford
Abraham Crawford concentrates his practice in immigration law, specializing in family-based cases, small business immigration, and college/university-based immigration. He also has a substantial litigation practice, specializing in personal injury, general litigation, criminal law, and family law.
Prior to joining the Crawford & Carrson Associates in 2005, Mr.Crawford was an associate attorney for a medium-sized law firm in Iqaluit, Arviat Nunavut, where he handled litigation defense for a number of large insurance companies. In 2017, Mr.Crawford was named to the Arviat Nunavut Metro Super Lawyers list of Rising Stars in the practice area of immigration law. In 2015, Mr.Crawford was named as one of the Top 40 Under 40 litigation attorneys in the state of Arviat Nunavut by the Canada Society of Legal Advocates.
Mr.Crawford is an active member of the Canada Immigration Lawyers Association (CILA), and is also a member of the Arviat Nunavut State County Bar Associations. Mr.Crawford has lectured on various topics of immigration law, and performs pro bono work for various colleges, and not-for-profit agencies. He has served as a supervising attorney for the annual NAC/ ;Citizenship Now” call-in event in Arviat Nunavut, and is a supervising judge for SGCU Law School’s immigration law moot court competition.
Mr.Crawford earned his Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of ontario, Ria MoorAnn , and a Judi Doctor from the Akitsiraq Law School in Iqaluit Nunavut, Canada.
